At last some relishing holidays (till 29 of this month) after the quarterly examinations.

I managed to secure 79.5 % (or simply 80%).

Today it rained a good deal in the afternoon.

And the Champions trophy starts today with S.L. on a good platform by now.

Quarterly Examinations Over

Today quarterly exams are over. I have writen these exams well...
Only I know the marks of Zoology in which I secured 43/60.
I did not write the Sanskrit exam up to the standard.
Highlight: Today C.M., A.P. Y.S.R. is gone missing in his copter.

Internet is 40 years old

It may sound surprising, but the Internet is actually 40 years old today.
On September 2, 1969, two computers send out meaningless test data at Kleinrock's lab at the University of California, Los Angeles. In the present day, it is well nigh impossible to imagine a world without the world wide web...read more

It has been many days I have joined this junior college...
But the things which worry me are"

The company website : It's blacklisted by Google/ StopBadware.org. (as of Aug 26 3:00 PM 2009 )

The institution's Parent/Student login page : It's badly programmed and parsed...And the most important mystery is it has no password or user name dictated by the authorities. The new user page draws a blank the link must be http://220.225.238.172/parentlogin/newuser.htm instead of http://192.100.100.12/parentlogin/newuser.htm

Mon + Soon

It's very cold and wet up here with the skies opening up frequently and no one could snatch a glance at the Sun for the past two days...

And so I have not attended the school today. On every Saturday there is an examination and I want to sweep it this time, after a dismal performance last attempt.

And the most (worst) thing is the Monday Exam which makes me read the whole..........

Sunday UPDATE : Did not attend the Sat' Exam, Looking forward for Monday's.
Friday Play P.S. : Won the cricket match by 3 runs.

I’m Rest Wrecked…

School is starting from tomorrow… Which only means restricted life without the face of the world.

Coming to an important point, I have to rub my face on the books the whole week until a comp. access at the end of the deadened week. The booklists are not declared but, interestingly the classes have already started from forth though I have not attended them. I am so making the most of now.

Going to the school before eight in a bus, sitting there for nine hours listening to napping snatching speeches (which the folks there, call as a lecture ), again boarding a bus and finally arriving home at six is a herculean and moreover a boring adventure every day. And the day does not end there. You HAVE to study in the diggings’ for some hours. The scenario of the school is also not at all cheering.

I will have access to Internet (and eventually computer ) only on Sunday and other holidays.

Monsoons are also set and its raining now while I am typing and expecting a power cut soon.

And finally the proceedings seem too slow for me to catch. I measured myself today and found that I am 153 centimetres and have a chest of 74 centimetres. Its normal at my age.

Misfortune was yet to come to me, but it has arrived rather and much earlier than expected.

And...
It's weird to see that www.google.com/mbd resolves correctly. Google actually forbids the page.
What could mean MBD? Maybe "million barrels per day", medical and biological database or "minimal brain dysfunction"?

Cricket 2002 Demo Knockout

Playing EA Cricket demo yesterday, I won two games in a row and the third drew, forth I lost by 2 runs and fifth, I again won.
Performance EA sports Cricket 2002 Demo Australia v/s England
  1. Won - 3 wickets and 2 balls to spare
  2. Won - 2 wickets and 3 balls to spare
  3. Draw - scores level
  4. Lost - 2 runs and 4 balls to spare
  5. Won - 3 wickets and 1 ball to spare
  6. Draw - scores level
  7. Lost - 1 run with 1 wicket remaining (I wish I could draw this or never played this! )
______________________________________
TOTAL =| Played: 7 | Won: 3 | Lost: 2 | Draw: 2 |
The brief scenario :
You are playing as Australia in an exhibition match. England has scored 313/4 in 50 overs. Aussies are trailing at 290 at the loss of 7 wickets from 48 overs.
The main objective of the demo game is to score 24 runs in 2 overs with a required run rate of 12.0 per over against the present 6.0. That's pretty hard to select the shots. And if you stir an inch, your are liable to lose the wicket.

A Campaigning Night

Starting from the house at half past seven in the evening, we reached the so called ‘saradanagar’ at nine. The place is queer and so the whole district. It is merged with tranquillity unlike the city. After a brief visit there, we departed from there at 21:43 and at 23:11 we arrive to our diggings’. The breeze was pleasant throughout and the journey a remarkable one.

The days are not cheerful as the upseting monsoons have not yet arrived.

Tere is nothing more to add.

End of May

After nearly a week of fancy Internets' absence from the room, Today I have got the liberty to surf but on very much precautions. I had run out of bandwidth this month.
And so...
Things went haywire till today.
I had to leave the swimming campaign as it had expired just yesterday and am planning if I can get there next year.
Internet was gone for a week and so is FIP as well as I.P.L. I think the T20 world cup from June 4 would do some good. I have literally given up listening to anthems. You do not expect to listen to that, the whole day with shattered speakers yelling in your ears. On the other hand my mouse is a wreck and gives me a dose of shocks daily.
The condition and the weather does not seem to be as cheerful. On the whole it makes the days more dull.

I was playing in the night with the Cricket cup and scored a whopping 228/5 in 10 overs with run rate of 3.8 runs per delivery in the second round-robin match. [22.8 runs per over] and the total was 453 from four matches. (2 round-robin + semifinals + final, I won all of them.)
My second and third highest were only 128/5 and 115/6 respectively.
And another achievement I reached was leveling the scores in EA sports Cricket 2002 Demo scoring 6 runs in the first over and smashing 17 from the second. Had I scored 1 extra I would have won the demo match. Drawing is what pains more than losing.

Gamesome

Again after a long period, I am writing today.
I've run out of bandwidth and so have to wait until the next month for intense Internet activities.
Until the I just download some game trailers, funny advertisements ( as Vodafone zoo zoos' ) in the
morning and watch it the rest of the day. [ Do not perceive and hunt me on the presumption I
practice piracy. I download them from the respective company websites.]

I played Nokia Cricket Cup and posted a huge total of 115/6 in 10 over's yesterday.
That was my highest score ever since I started playing.
Cricket 2002 too seems to be of interest and scored 23 runs in 2 over's to level the scores.

For me the days of rest and enjoyment are to be in pieces when I start going to school.

And lastly I have given up [something which you don’t know]

BTW This is my first post by Windows Live Writer

Reverse Swing

Today woke up at 5:38 am but it was seven before I got up from the bed.
I did not attend the swimming sessions today and time is running out of my hands right now, knowing that only eight days are left for me to learn.

Today morning we went to the hospital to carry out a health checkup but returned
dissatisfied as the doc. did not turn up and it was informed he would probably arrive on 6th of June.

Quite annoyed by this because I had to get my hand on the countries national anthems before 8 or again next day.

Thinking to watch the second I.P.L. semifinals between RC and CS K today on television.

BTW Even my summer vacations are coming to an end and I hardly have a fortnight to spare.

Spilling the beans

I started writing this post at as early as eleven in the morning and
It's seven in the evening when I am going to publish it, editing it over 35 times. ;-)

The weather today is pleasant opposed to yesterday
As there was a thunder storm in the evening around same time.
Some two days ago a gale storm and a heavy downpour shook the city and sound of shattering glasses were heard from distant areas.
It is evident the monsoons are approaching at a right time or perhaps earlier.

The news in my camp is not exciting.

Today we went to [some area not to be revealed] to enroll myself in the Junior College, which appears to be a jail of some sort.

I'm not pleased by the environment I am going to study my next two years.
I don't mind coming to study, but that eight hour wait to go home is a pain.

After a brisk shopping, we returned home to find the electricity down & now I am again typing this post.

And finally I am really relieved that,
I will not give a screening test thus will spend some ten sunny days in a sheer and hilarious mood.

A Retrospection

Today I went to school to grab that demoralizing mark sheet but it went in vain to know they will be awarded tomorrow.

I'm not very pleased by my performance in the ICSE 10 class exams.
Though I was able to shake off the disappointing spirit, it still hurts to know the science marks.
It was a bitter pill to swallow.

After arriving home at approximately 3 in the noon, I prepared myself to watch the last match of K.K.R. in I.P.L. season 2 when they took on R.R. and eventually won it in a low scoring thriller.
I watched it partially on internet and the rest on television.

And after some evening hum-drum exercise, dinner,
I am writing this post and will be on bed in a few minutes.

Today was a really memorable day to last a lifetime.

The results were declared today at 11:00 a.m. I.S.T

It's Decision time !

I am in no humor to write a long post today as the I.C.S.E. 10th standard reports are going to be declared tomorrow (Wednesday, May 20th 2009 at 11 a.m. ).
The feeling is really thrilling and and squeezing my adrenals out and am really not able to keep the suspense up.

As per the swimming classes, I am really progressing and trying to learn it within this month.
Today I got up at 5:00 a.m. by listening to my phone's alarm and this was my record in this year as I do not remember any occasion I got up so early as today.

I am hoping to get hand on the world anthems tomorrow morning as I have a broadband of limited bandwidth (2.5 GB / UN 2:00 am to 8:00am) .

Another thing which I rejoice is the blog of Fake I.P.L. Player [http://fakeiplplayer.blogspot.com/]
And whoever is the blogger, we are expecting him to reveal himself on Wednesday as he promised on the last encounter of K.K.R. with R.R tomorrow.

The long and short of it

Today, the counting of votes for the Lower House made it a red letter day.
Section 144 was clamped in Hyderabad today for 48 hours.

I had caught a tinge of cold probably due the the swimming sessions in the morning.
And so could not attend them from yesterday.

Volcano erupts in the pool

After nearly a tedious week, I am publishing this short post.

Today I was swimming in (and rather on) the water and I'm quite getting closer to the 'tecnik' behind this amphibious drill.

One thing which hurts me is the abandoning my bed in the dawn and go for the drowning exercise

Initially, some days ago, it was really tiresome to land into the halide water and now it is worth relishing .
Now the main problem lies in floating around despite the currents produced by those deflating tubes which the U-12's carry around like a burden.

I'm hoping that as time goes by some of their crumbs will fall by our bed sides.
If I hop around the water at this moment, it is for sure I could master the skills within' a fortnight.

I redesigned the blog for this one is of minimal bandwidth and thus apparently loads faster.

A tryst with water

Today was my first day in water. though I could not swim across, I still landed in the pool and tried myself to keep afloat.

It was a herculean job for me to step down as a beginner and then getting dissolved in the saturated pool. I still can not remain afloat in the water :-(

Swimming

Today I went to the swimming pool for the first time.
Though I did not step down for a stroke, I just splashed some water up my sleeves to see whether the water was really chill ;-)

I fancy from tomorrow I can dive under the water.

Here is the rough diagram of the club's indoor swimming pool.

IPL

In I.P.L. I support Deccan Chargers....
Initially I supported K.K.R. as I hail from Kolkata.
But the renaming of it from K.K.R. to Knight Riders and it's change of skipper made me change my mind.
B.T.W. I do not think K.K.R. will reach the semifinals.

Examinations

My 10th class Board Exams are ought to be over by the end of March... In my view education makes too much of itself, making me study till the wee hours of the next day.
These days I can only afford to sleep merely for 4-6 hours...

BTW : This is my first post in blogger
